Surf on top of the great reggae waves this 2024 with Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads LIVE on Thursday, July 25th, at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater, with guests Common Kings and The Elovaters! Produced by Live Nation, the “Slightly Dirty Summer” Tour will see our two SoCal band legends pair up on more than twenty headlining dates across the US in a bid to turn your season of sand into a season of sound. Vibe to the funky punk fever of San Diego’s Slightly Stoopid, celebrating 30 YEARS of jam-centric shows and Billboard best-selling indie hits, such as “2 A.M.,” “Collie Man,” and “Closer To The Sun.” But don’t overdo it, ‘cause we still have Alternative and Rock Albums chart-topper Dirty Heads lined up, primed to plunge crowds into the ska and hip-hop-inspired goodness of Gold and Platinum-certified songs like “Lay Me Down” and “Vacation.” Tickets are now available, so go and get yours now!

SoCal summers are all ABOUT rollicking reggae jams, and those vibes are spreading through the United States like wildfire! This year, Live Nation is eager to present the “Slightly Dirty Summer 2024” Tour, a much-anticipated concert series that will take band icons Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads to major markets in 23 show-stopping performances.

On July 25th, the tour will hit the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater, a top-rated Virginia Beach outdoor music destination equipped with excellent facilities, from sound to spotlights, and with great vantage points to boot.

San Diego’s very own Slightly Stoopid is going to reggae-rock the stage (and your world) with a highly eclectic tune that borrows funk, punk, folk, and hip-hop elements. Founded by Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald, the group has been jamming for the better part of 30 YEARS, giving us Gold-certified singles “2 A.M.” and “Collie Man,” and the Platinum-seller “Closer To The Sun.” They’ve made countless festival appearances around the globe, from Lollapalooza to Coachella, and this July, Slightly Stoopid aims to entertain using fan-favorites from their US Indie Album chart-toppers, which include Chronchitis and Everyday Life, Everyday People.

After that, Huntington Beach hitmakers Dirty Heads will come in BLAZING like the summer sun, but still keeping things fresh with their laidback Southern Californian attitude. The band, a high-charting mainstay in Billboard Top Alternative and Rock album ranks, is your #1 bet for top-of-the-line ska, hip hop, and rock-inspired reggae fusions — decorated Gold and Platinum by the RIAA in smash hits “Lay Me Down” and the 2021 TikTok craze “Vacation.” Get infected by Dirty Heads’ best-streamed LPs, such as Cabin by the Sea, Sound of Change, and Swim Team, as they blow our venue’s roof with sheer, intoxicating acoustic groove.

“So happy to be back out on the road with our boys! Every time we get together it’s nothing but good times and I expect nothing less this summer!” said Dirty Heads frontman Duddy B.

The evening’s first opener will be played by reggae group Common Kings, famed for their GRAMMY-nominated Lost in Paradise debut album, whose hits “24/7” and “Wade in Your Water” will drench you in a cocktail of soul and R&B rooted in Polynesian island music.

Boston Music Award winners and Billboard chart-toppers the Elovaters, meanwhile, will take the levels up a notch through the intricately woven musicianship of their latest full-length length release, Endless Summer, and its breezy lead singles “Sunlight” and “MIA.”

Slightly Stoopid and Dirty Heads are rounding up the Virginia Beach crowd this Thursday, July 25th, for their “Slightly Dirty Summer” concert special LIVE at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater. Click the link above and GET YOUR TICKETS now!
