The Heaviest Tour Of The Summer.

Pantera have recently announced The Heaviest Tour Of The Summer. The metal legends have plotted 29 performances across North America, kickstarting on July 15 in Burgettstown, PA and wrapping up on September 13 in West Palm Beach, FL. They'll be joined on the road with Swedish kings of Viking metal Amon Amarth, with an opening act for the performances still to be announced. 

The highly anticipated performances will follow Pantera's run of spring North American stadium appearances with heavyweights Metallica and Suicidal Tendencies. They'll also take to the stage at Black Sabbath's and Ozzy Osbourne's final performance in Birmingham, UK on July 5, alongside Metallica, Slayer, Gojira, Halestorm, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, Anthrax, and Mastodon, among others. Pantera just wrapped up the UK leg of their first tour in more than 20 years with a performance at London's esteemed OVO Arena Wembley. They dropped their last studio record, 'Reinventing The Steel’, back at the turn of the new millennium, with a twentieth anniversary edition landing in 2020.

Pantera is currently composed of original members vocalist Philip H. Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown, alongside the insanely talented guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante who fill in the posts held by the late founding Abbott brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul.
