It’s three legendary R&B artists in one spectacular show! You can’t get it any better than this! Grammy nominated phenom Charlie Wilson brings together the most astounding R&B music! The Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout features his tremendous set, plus groundbreaking performances from 15-time Grammy winning singer-songwriter Babyface and Grammy nominated singer K-Ci Hailey. There is no other show quite like this in town and you’ll be basking in fantastic R&B titles all night long on this one. Expect Wilson to serve some pretty awesome classics like “Without You,” “Charlie, Last Name Wilson,” “Attitude,” and tons more. Meanwhile , Babyface will be dropping some sizzling hot hits like “Everytime I Close My Eyes,” “Wonderful Tonight,” and “When Can I See You,” among others. Lastly, K-Ci will be seranading the crowd with smashing hits from his works with K-Ci & Jojo and Jodeci.
In a statement, Wilson shared, “This tour is unlike anything I’ve done before. As someone who truly loves R&B, getting to share the stage with my friends Babyface, K-Ci, and El is something I’m really looking forward to. I’ve been performing for so long that my audience isn’t just made up of fans, it really has become a family.” The singer went on to add, “Over the years, I’ve come to recognize so many faces, and we’ve grown together through the music. The R&B cookout is gonna be one big family reunion for us and our fans.”
Singer-songwriter Charlie Wilson is a prolific R&B chart topper. His hits has consistently went o number 1 for over two decades. His latest single, “Superman” went straight to number 1 on the Adult R&B songs chart in 2023. Wilson has earned multiple Grammy nominations and two NAACP Image Awards. He has also received Lifetime Achievement Awards from BET and Trumpet Awards.
According to NME, he’s one of the greatest producers in the circuit. Babyface has a successful music career, selling over 800 million records and earning multiple Grammys for his solo work. Babyface has also written songs for a wide range of major artists, including Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, and countless more.
R&B singer K-Ci has done incredible work with Jodei and K-Ci & Jojo. His fantastic career has resulted in a ton of hits, including “All My Life,” “Crazy,” and “Tell Me If It’s Real.” His group Jodeci also released the highly praised titles “Get On Up,” “Love U 4 Life,” and “Freek’N You.”
