What to expect at concerts

The Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater is just outside of Virginia Beach. It’s surrounded by sports venues, parking lots, and lakes, with plenty of visitor space.

Many people like to arrive early and soak up the atmosphere in the lots. Once doors open, there are two main gates at which you’ll find security and ticket checks. Many prefer to arrive early to secure the best spots once inside — if you wish to skip the queues, you can purchase a fast lane pass for $10. There’s no re-entry allowed, so please take all items with you when you first enter.

Depending on the show, your ticket will either be for reserved seating or general admission. Reserved seats are closer to the stage and covered by a canopy. These provide excellent views. Meanwhile, general admission tickets allow you to find a spot on the grassy lawn behind the seating area. This section guarantees a lively atmosphere, with guests sitting on rental chairs or picnic blankets.
