Meanwhile, fans and music authorities called him the father of shock rock. Alice Cooper has done amazing work with his band, busting out brilliant albums like School’s Out, Billion Dollar Babies, and Muscle of Love. Upon the band’s dissolution, Copper went on to continuing on as a solo artist, belting out a total of 22 studio albums, including the iconic 1989 album, Trash. Alice Cooper has sold a total of 50 million albums and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011.
The Brisith metal band rose to prominence upon dropping their album British Steel. The 1980 effort, which spawned “Living After Midnight,” “Breaking the Law,” catapuled them to the mainstream scene. Judas Priest has been releasing music since 1974 meanwhile, their latest album Invincible Shield was released in 2024 – making their incredible five decade career a testament to their longevity. In 2022, Judas Priest was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
